Terms of Use

Terms governing use of AIGovernanceRatings.com, its public research, methodology reference material, third-party links and intellectual property.

Last reviewed: August 25, 2026

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern access to and use of AIGovernanceRatings.com, including public research, methodology analysis, reference material and website functionality. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and consistently with these Terms.

2. Research and informational purpose

Website content is provided for general institutional research and informational purposes. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, audit, certification, accounting, investment, insurance, cybersecurity or other professional advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice appropriate to a specific organization, transaction, system or jurisdiction.

3. AI Governance Ratings boundary

Research discussing AI Governance Ratings does not itself constitute an issued AIGR™ rating. A rating is a scoped governance opinion produced under the operative methodology and decision process applicable to the engagement. No website statement should be interpreted as a guarantee of AI safety, legal compliance, security, future performance, absence of incidents or regulatory approval.

4. Data, standards and third-party material

Publications may reference third-party laws, regulations, standards, frameworks, datasets, research and websites. Those sources may change, be corrected or use definitions and methodologies different from those used on this site. References do not imply affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, accreditation, certification or regulatory approval.

5. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, original site text, research organization, design, graphics and proprietary methodology descriptions are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. AIGR™, AIGX Research™ and other marks are used subject to their respective rights. Third-party marks and copyrighted materials remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Permitted use

You may read, cite and link to public pages for lawful research, education, commentary and internal business purposes, subject to applicable copyright and attribution requirements. You may not misrepresent research as an issued rating, remove material qualifications, imply endorsement, interfere with website security, submit malicious content or use the site in a manner that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

7. User submissions

Do not submit confidential rating evidence, personal secrets, privileged material or sensitive regulated information through public website forms. You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit may lawfully be provided for the stated purpose.

8. Availability and changes

Research, methodology analysis, links and site functionality may be revised, corrected, withdrawn or replaced. Publication references and version information are used to help readers identify the material reviewed at a particular point in time.

9. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the public site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that the content will be complete, error-free, continuously available or suitable for every decision context. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of reliance

Users remain responsible for independent due diligence and for determining whether information is appropriate for their own legal, regulatory, technical, commercial or governance context. Material decisions should consider the underlying evidence, source material and applicable professional advice rather than a website summary alone.

11. External sites

Links to AIGX Research™, AIGR™ Global, AIGX™ and third-party sources are provided for context and navigation. External sites are governed by their own terms, privacy practices and content controls.

12. Changes and contact

These Terms may be updated as the site, research program or applicable requirements change. The review date above should be updated following material revisions. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page.
